What we're looking for
We publish focused “best of” listicles covering places, products, services, and businesses across Canada, for example, “5 Best Brunch Spots in Ottawa” or “5 Best Online Banks in Canada.” Strong submissions are:
- Never published elsewhere, and written by you
- Reflecting real Canadian prices, availability, and context
- Accurate, current, and backed by genuine knowledge or experience
- Practical recommendations, no fluff or filler
- Clear, friendly, and easy to read
Submission guidelines
- Length: 800–1,500 words
- Format: a clear intro, 5 well-described picks, and a short conclusion (an FAQ section is a bonus)
- Tone: friendly, informative, and conversational
- Original images are welcome; do not submit copyrighted photos
- Include suggested headings and any relevant links to sources
- One outbound promotional or self-serving link maximum, subject to approval
What we don’t accept
- Previously published or AI-spun content
- Thinly disguised advertisements or paid promotions
- Plagiarized material or content with fabricated facts
- Off-topic pieces unrelated to Canadian places, products, services, or businesses
